Project overview.
LXME is India’s first financial platform built exclusively for women. I worked as the UX designer from concept to launch, this being my first full end-to-end app design project, helping turn LXME’s mission into a product that made investing feel approachable for first-time women investors.

Challenge.
Most women in India were already saving money but avoided investing. Existing platforms often felt intimidating, and investments were frequently handled by husbands or family heads, leaving no safe space for learning, asking questions, or building confidence. The challenge was to design an experience that reduced fear, built trust, and gently guided users from curiosity to action.

Result.
LXME launched with strong early traction, 500K+ downloads, 4.6★+ ratings across app stores, and an active community of women engaging in financial conversations. This indicated that users were willing to take their first towards investing.
