The Observant Fool

The Observant Fool

I’m convinced the world is a comedy disguised as productivity.
Every day I see people arguing in comment sections like their Wi-Fi bill depends on winning.
People buying things they don’t need, to impress people who aren’t looking, with money they don’t have.
We’re all the same, just pretending we’re different.
I don’t claim to understand life.
I just observe it. Sometimes it feels profound; sometimes it feels stupid…often, it’s both.
Why do we overthink texts but underthink decisions?
Why do we trust Google Maps more than our own intuition?
Why do people say “I’m a good listener” and then interrupt with “Same happened to me…”?
Humans are hilarious.
We create deadlines, then complain about stress.
We crave freedom, then scroll like prisoners.
We want peace, but not silence.
We want love, but not vulnerability.
We want success, but not discipline.
I’m not judging..I’m included.
I’ve spent 15 minutes choosing a playlist for a 10-minute drive.
I’ve opened the fridge, stared inside, and closed it like I expected a miracle.
I’ve skipped meditation because “I didn’t have 10 minutes”… and then wasted 40 on YouTube.
People are funny. I love them for it.
The best part of being observant is realizing we’re all trying.
Trying to look smart.
Trying to feel loved.
Trying to make sense of a world that makes memes faster than meaning.
So I stay curious.
I ask questions.
I notice vibes.
Sometimes the world feels philosophical. Sometimes the world feels like a circus.
And I’m somewhere in the middle… an observant fool
just trying to understand why everything matters and nothing does at the same time.
